Job Summary

Sonnet Windows and Doors Manufacturing Inc. manufactures vinyl windows and entry doors for a wide range of applications and building styles is looking for a Database Administrator in our manufacturing plant in Burk’s Falls. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Managing, monitoring and maintaining company databases
• Making changes, updates and modifications to database including suppliers list, articles and prices
• Read documents and contact customers to gather technical information
• Design and construct the windows and doors of any type that are requested by the clients
• Specify users and user access levels for each segment of database
• Modify software programs to improve database performance
• Develop policies and procedures for secure network and Internet database usage
• Backup and recovery of data

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
• A minimum 3 years’ experience as a database administrator
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, SQL server, AutoCAD
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Highly organized and responsible
• Capable working under pressure 
• Previous experience in window manufacturing software is preferable
