The Wagon Wheel in Powassan Ontario is hiring a Chef.
The successful candidate will employ their culinary and managerial skills in order to play a critical role in
maintaining and enhancing both our employees’ and customers’ satisfaction. The chef realizes that this is
an open schedule position and must be available at any time for the success of the culinary program.

Responsibilities:
Menu and product development.
Food Inventory and prep management
Supervision of kitchen staff.
Coordinate with owners for kitchen staff scheduling
Managing staff to set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
Preparing food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
Cooking menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
Maintaining standards processes for all stations during prep, service, and close
Maintaining a clean, safe, and effective environment
Overseeing and participating in all BOH activities that require your knowledge and attention
